Minimal Masses are now available
Effective Monday, 1 June – week-day Masses have commenced:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday mornings @ 9:15 am.
As from the week-end of 20 / 21 June, Sunday Observance Masses are:
* Saturday Vigil Mass @ 5 pm
* Sunday Dawn Mass @ 7:30 am and
* Sunday Mass of the Day @ 9:30 am
* Sunday Evening Mass @ 6 pm
The First Saturday of the month after the morning Mass and Benediction until finished.
Saturday afternoon BEFORE the 5 pm Vigil Mass – 4:30 pm until 4:45 pm ONLY
ALL MASSES are subject to a MAXIMUM NBR of 100 people and
the 4 square metre per person limit applies!!!!
AND PLEASE, YOU MUST ALWAYS observe social distancing rules at all times & SIGN IN!!!
Access to the Church will ONLY be via the main FRONT DOOR during the week.
FOR Saturday Vigil & Sunday Masses ONLY, the SIDE DOOR closest to the Presbytery
will also be available.
You are required to use the hand sanitiser available and to always SIGN IN and SIGN OUT on the register on the table located just inside the front door of the Church.
Where can I watch Mass now that Churches are open but only small numbers are permitted?
St Mary’s Cathedral will continue to live-stream the 10:30 am Solemn Mass every Sunday while the restrictions continue as well as various other services throughout the week. Check the website for regular updates. https://www.stmaryscathedral.org.au/ MASS FOR YOU AT HOME is broadcast on Channel 10 each Sunday from 6 am.
There are several live-streaming services for daily Mass both locally and from around the English-speaking world.
Bishops and priests can still say Mass privately.
